I've had an 8300 for about a year. It's the best phone I've ever had. The
internal speaker is loud enough that I rarely use the external speakers. The
signal quality is excellent, to the point that even at home I prefer to use
my cell over my pots line. I generally keep my phone on a charger in my
vehicle during working hours, so I'm not to sure about battery life, but
over the weekends when its not being charged, I'll loose one or two bars on
the battery. The phone is built well and the only gripe I have is the thin
plastic battery cover moves around a little when you're holding the phone.
It's never come off, but I don't like the slight "play" in it
