Most professional (big) Dect base stations have a number of registered
handsets, and a number of concurrent calls.

Dect has 10 carriers (in europe) with 12 up and 12 down timeslots.

So, in theory that is 120 simultaneous calls within the same area.

I'm not sure whether this is possible in practice.
