But there is also the simple fact that a parabolic dish will
have narrower beamwidth for the same gain, and will have
significantly fewer sidelobes, as a Yagi Uda design.

Where did you do tropo? That's what I did when I was young.
I did satellite when I was old. And microwave for all of it.
