I use Intel 2200BG network card on my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop along with the Intel Proset Wireless software. Recently, the wireless network profile keeps getting deleted after reboot. I have removed all drivers and software and installed the latest version of the software -- V11.1.0.5 -- but it is not making any difference. I keep getting the error "The profile database is corrupted".

I created another user account on Windows XP and intel proset works fine on that one. I have so much work and personalisation on the old user account that I cannot switch to the new account.

I am aware that I can use windows to manage the wireless network -- but prefer to use Intel Proset as the performance is much better.
