and your phone service is provided on copper? by whom? do they have their own
cable to your premises, or is it serviced via Telstra cable?

your internet access is broadband? DSLAMs are located in whose exchange?

Do you really think that Telstra provide these facilities to your phone service
provider and ISP free of charge, out of the goodness of their corporate heart?
Sheesh - where do you think Telstra get the $$ to pay you divs?
