A lot of large businesses and corporate outfits still seem to favour one
network out of Voda, O2 & Orange over T-Mobile. I have my own views on the
rights/wrongs of this approach, but that's not for here. Either way, it
suggests to me that amongst "big" users (the best word I can think of),
there is still a perception of T-Mobile being "one of the rest" when
competing on the coverage front with O, O2 or V.
These figures may have changed recently (this is an area I've stopped
following in close detail since a year or so), but T-Mobile used to:
- Have the largest customer base when they treated all the Virtual (i.e.
Virgin, Fresh, etc) networks' customers as their own,
- Be number 2 or 3 when those were stripped out.
I'm not sure how the figures stack up for Q1/Q2 2007.
