Once you have been given a PAC you have 30 days in which to use it. If
you fail to use it you will continue being billed by your 'old'
provider. I recently moved from O2 to Virgin. I found out how long it
took for Virgin to do the changeover and then gave them the PAC so
that I didn't leave my contract any more than 3 days early.
I gave O2 one month's notice and asked for my PAC.
