No. You get a lower per minute call charge when roaming in some countries if
you pay by direct debit.
The current offer is not available to direct debit customers despite the
fact that the general terms and conditions state that direct debit customers
get "all the benefits" offered to other pay as you go customers.
It's awful marketing - probably the worst example I've seen for a long time
and one that is capable of alienating direct debit pay as you go customers.
I didn't realise I wasn't eligible for the offer until I called Virgin
Customer "Support" to point out that I had no option to sign up for the
offer.
