First of all, know that I've never used a BB before, so am starting
cold here.

Picked up the Pearl today, and would like to use my USA.NET mail
server ot process mail on the BB. I am this problem: I can access
the USA.NET mail server ok. I get a prompt on the BB that says
"Welcome to net@ddress" and it has a link that says "Enter." So I
select Enter.

A lot of data seems to be flying back and forth, but about 75% of the
time, it returns to the Enter prompt - the other 25% of the time I get
a prompt showing how many email messages are unread. If I click that
link ("Inbox (32 new)"), about 75% of the time I'm taken back to the
"Enter" prompt - the rest of the time I'll get a list of the unread
mail items. If I click on one of those, I may, or may not, get to see
the text of the message - more often than not, I'm returned to the
"Enter" page and prompt. But if I *do* get to read the message, I'd
like to reply to it. There are three prompts at the bottom of the
read screen - one says "Respond." If I click on that link, I get
another where one of the choices is "Reply." If I choose that, I get
a blank screen with a mouse arrow pointer on it. I can scroll the
pointer around (and it seems locked to the lefthand border of the
screen - it only moves vertically, not horizontally), but I can't
enter any text. I have to ESCAPE to get out of that screen.

Does any of this sound familiar? Any ideas as to what might be
wrong? OPerator error, perhaps?
