I bought a Dlink DWL-G630 & am using that. I'll try again later with the BG.
To answer some of your questions.
1. The laptop works perfectly with an ethernet connection. I can surf
the net. access the other computers, etc. I can also do all that with
the G630.
2. Proset sees the BG card.
3. Proset diagnostics show no reportable events.
Failure occurs when trying to connect. After it has found the AP.
I know a little about the basics of this stuff (got an old belkin card
working on this network & also got the G650 & G630 talking to the old
belkin AP) & am inclined to think the 2 are just not compatible.
