While I dislike the stupid abuse by some posters as much as you do, if you
want moderators you should join moderated groups. Usenet is not about
moderation.

I will agree with you, however, that, as in many things in our world, the
minority of assholes are ruining for everyone what was once a great thing.
They seem to be able to drag us all down to their lowest common denominator.

There are also choices of moderated newsgroups for each phone type. I
belong, for example to both blackberry.com and crackberry.com. When I want
real information I go there. When I want to check out rumors and gossip, I
come here.
