If Sprint's network was so good you wouldn't have to force roam.
Not exactly the best of both worlds. All things being equal, distance
from tower etc., the 800 Mhz signal of Verizon has better building
penetration than the 1900 signal of Sprint. Same is true for GSM
carriers as far as building penetration goes.
