Wel, for those of you who are interested....


Richms and I decided that one of these mounts would be nice and strong in high winds and so I went on my way modifying it to work.


Here is a close up of the installed tilt mechanism on my waveguide. It has been painted in primer grey to stop any rust from forming on the newly cut steel.
The scholars will note that the pole mount end is upside down in comparison to a normal satellite mount as we need downtilt, not uptilt.

Sorry about the quality of the images, I used a shitty pencam which had such bad colors I ended up just converting to black and white.
