DAMN! youre not kidding, over the total 6 metres and 4 of cable used this is what is being lost.
over the 6 metres - 3.7db. and an efficiency of 43%
over the 4 metres - 1.2db and an efficiency of 76%

Also i cant seem to get the damn map location working for palmerston north. it shows the entire west coast of N.Z pretty much. So i cant add myself to nodedb.com
might look into getting better cable
