Probably to attract the younger crowd. There was an ad on TV recently for
an icecream. In part it said, "it has no boring bits".

I mean to say. Are the kids of today so bored shitless that even icecreams
have to be "exciting"???

Same for mobile phones too, I s'pose. Need to make them exciting, flashy
in appearance and to give them "sexy" names...
