Three are now charging all calls a minimum of 1 MINUTE for their
contract customers. So a short call of a few seconds that went through
to answerphone results in a full minute being deducted from inclusive
minutes, or a charge of a full 1 minute from excluded calls.
I did not have any notification of the change, and think it's
outrageous. Surely these are grounds to escape the contract. The
customer services advisor I spoke to in India did not know of the
change until I pointed out that the month before I made short calls
and was not charged a full minute for them. He then checked up with a
supervisor who said, yes there has been a change. When I requested
notification in writing, they wouldn't give it to me.
Is anyone else affected and what are others doing about it?
