I wanted to find out when ATTWS in Charleston, SC, would have 3G running
and play with a few new iPhone toys without spending $400 just to see how
it worked. It worked OK, but the YouTube app ignores the orientation and
stalled a few times on EDGE right in the ATT store from lack of data.

The "Iphone guy" said ATT wouldn't have 3G in Charleston until late Summer
or early Fall, but the 3G iPhone wouldn't be for sale until NEXT YEAR! I
asked him where he got that information because it was different than I had
heard here. He said, "Straight from ATT."

I think the 3G iPhones are going to be HELD UP until MOST of ATT, it's
partner in crime, has the system that will support it.....to prevent or
reduce the jailbreaking (corporatethink).

It makes sense.....
