I must admit, I have never had any problems with getting refunds or an
exchange from Currys, Dixons or P.C world.

I had a video recorder from Currys, after 11 months that went wrong, not
a single problem, I swopped it for a different model and got a refund
of the difference in price.

The same with my Humax, that went wrong after 8 months, they did not
have the same model so refunded me my money.

I have had hard drives I got from PC world that went wrong, exchange or
refund, no problem.
Only last week, my mate got a motherboard, it failed just after a few
hours, so he got an exchange, the same thing happend and then he got a
refund.

Now Comet is a different thing, they are a pain the neck and trying to
get them to exchange or a refund is almost impossible. A pity really as
I liked Comet, but I vowed to the manager that I will never step foot in
there again.
He was not happy that I went outside in the car park and shouted at the
top of my voice that comet did not give a crap about customer service
and that the manager was an asshole.

He got his security out to us, but after I told them, that the land I
was on was public and they could not do a sodding thing, they went back
inside.
