Are you implying that every computer made ships with the
largest hard drive that system's board bios can support?

That would seem to be the only way your statement could make
sense, and yet is obviously untrue.

It does bring up the point that it wouldn't hurt to check on
an newer bios, that "might" allow supporting up to 128GB if
the board had good support from manufacturer.
