I wouldn't worry too much, plug-top PSU's often get rather warm, I've had
a few that you could hardly touch, but I'm still here ;-)

I'll hopefully be in until noon if you have a working phone to call..!
Just taken the plunge and ordered one so we'll see how it goes......
