I tried to swap phones on their web page. This does not work of course so
an error msg pops up with their customer support number, asking you to call
them.

Customer service then works with their tech support to get your Treo working
as a phone with no internet.

You just have to explain to them what you are trying to do and why.

I have done this twice with a Treo 600 and now Treo 650. Fist time I did it
they did not even charge me for the swap.
