Nope. It's in 3G mode.Configured automatically as per Telstra's config. I
haven't change a thing. It also flashes the 3G and HSDPA symbols when data
transfers are active.

Tell me. How long is it supposed to take to MMS a photo. Or, if you've
configured your phone to loginto an email account to send or retrieve, how long
do you expect it to send an email with a 300kb attachment (in this case it's a
2mp photo from the phone)?

In either case, it can take up to 30 seconds from the time that I hit the Send
button (no punching in here) til the data activity has ceased as indicated by
the symbols disappearing off the screen.
