Default Dual Antenna AP + Mesh Parabolic + Omni, serve as NODE?

Hi there, I’ve got a few questions, hopefully they wont come across as being two basic. I’m studying electrometrical engineering at Southampton University in the UK, (this part is irrelevant). The university runs a wireless network for students to connect from nearby houses and student-halls. There are 5 nodes at present.

From September I will be moving outside campus and would still like to have access to the wireless network. Its 2.6KM LOS, which has been tested, from my new house. I would like to set up a node to serve other student in this area.

My question is basically, using a Wireless Access point with 2 antenna sockets (haven’t got one in mind at the moment), is it possible to use a parabolic mesh antenna (because of their cheapness and high gain) to gain a link to the university, then by using the second aerial port to re transmit the signal via an omni. So bascially setting up a node

I’ve got my doubts, so maybe two access ports might be needed for this configuration.

Here is a link to my local, and cheapest supplier:

Any help would ge great.
