Dell Inspiron 8600 w/ Dell minipci 1450 Card and Linksys WRT54GC

Trying to get WPA2 Personal working between the two.

Dell states that the card can perform WPA2 but the

only says WPA.

Currently WPA-PSK w/TKIP works fine but just trying to get WPA2
to work.

My first question is clarification on WPA2. Is WPA2 the same as
WPA-PSK with AES encryption?

If I try to setup WPA-PSK w/AES I get a connection
and M$ states I have authenticated, but I am unable to ping the router.

If I set it back to TKIP, all works.

Just searching for a solution if possible.
