Lets see.. I can make out 4 extremely weak signals from neighbors, so I have
a total of 12.
Yeah, I know, I am a whore for putting out 8 SSID's... :/
They are all spread throughout 802.11a and 802.11g..
My "justification" for having 8 is that they are broken out on logically and
physically seperate networks. Several 802.11a's make up a network for WLAN
and computers' internet. Another network consists of 802.11g's for media
devices. Then I have a completetly open network with a couple 802.11g's for
anyone to use as my house is adjacent to a park. The open network goes
through a captive portal, of course. It filters against anyone trying
juvenile BS, blocks anyone trying to run services, filters porn, etc... |
