mmm I agree with ForceRecon - stay away from the DSE and DLink routers....

I have heard good things about the Linksys WRT54GS and the Linksys BEFW11S4. Of course these are both Wireless Routers, if you want wired ethernet you could go for a cisco 805, or a 1720 - but you'll pay $$$$ for it!!! :?

Failing that, I've heard woosh using a Zyxel Prestige 324 router that seems to work ok...
