Some PCMCIA cards with the 'prism 2' chipset are a pain in the fundamentals when trying to use with WinXP on a HP or Compaq laptop.. For example after loading the drivers in WinXP and then slotting the card home, the LED lights up then goes out, no amount of uninstalling or installing the drivers helps.
