Way more information is needed. What operating system are you using to start.
I'm not familiar with Vista, but you should have a wireless icon in your taskbar that is either showing a computer, or a computer with an x through it. Which is it?
If its there, right click on it and arrow down to 'show available wireless networks'.
What kind of router did you install? Where?
