Howdy team, this is my first post so please bear with me. I have a WUSB54Gv4 wirelessly connecting to a linksys wrt54g2 router. This thing will connect me to the internet for like 5-10 minutes at a time and then drop the connection for seemingly random periods of time (5min-2hrs). Sometimes I will be connected to the router but not the internet.

There are 2 other computers plugged into the router, and 1 other computer connecting wirelessly and they all have flawless connections. The only thing i can think of is because I am downstairs and the router is upstairs, maybe the connection is weak and wont pick up sometimes.

If thats the case, could you guys suggest the right kind of booster or range extender?
