I was wondering if you every figured out what the problem was.

I'm having the same problem with a brand new vaio TX series.

All was working fine until I got a popup mssge that said an internal program had turned out my wifi. After this although the green wifi light is on, it no longer appreat in the wireless control-panel.
The swith is physically turned on, the light in green, but no connection.

What happened?
It was working fine an hour ago!
