I tried to change to channel 2 but the problem is the same and the connection seems slower than ever. I tried to update firmware the other day also by clicking on check for update in my router management screen. It says that it has found a firmware update but when I download it I cannot install it. It is downloading a .bin file and in the manual it says it should be a different extension than that. I also see in my router that protected mode is on, it states that best performance is with this off, is that advisable though?
