What OS is on your personal laptop?

In Windows XP go to the Network Connections icon in Control Panel, select the wireless and Ethernet connections, right-click and select Bridge Connections. The laptop will now pass traffic between its wireless and Ethernet interfaces.

Make sure you disable or appropriately configure any firewalls you are running for this to work properly.
