Sounds like an IP issue. As the Belkin is a router it may not pass local network details through the WAN port. Also make sure the IP subnet on the belkin is not the same as the subnet on your local network as it won't route traffic. Just check your ip addresses, gateway and DNS information and make sure they are all getting the correct info.
