Yeah point-to-point is what I'm after.
The aim is to send Woosh from our woolshed to our house because the woolshed seems to be the closest place we can get it (presumably because of a valley between the surrounding hills).
If I mount it on the roof the line of sight should be perfect.

Do I need a similar/identical antenna on the router and the PCI Card?
What about a flat panel antenna?
Will an antenna that says it is for a 802.11b connection be able to support the higher speeds of 802.11g? (Not that it will matter much in my situation)

I'm looking at antennas on Go Wireless NZ, is there other places I should be looking?

Thanks for your help
Sorry I'm asking so many questions!
