Yep, set to automatic, and its running.

Something else that I've noticed happending: anytime I swtich off Wireless Zero config service (ie, switch to the intel app), and then go back to using XP, some of the details of the wireless profile have changed in XP, ie, the security details of the profile show that the network the profile was created for was using WEP, rather than WPA2, which it was originally defined for when I created the profile... is this normal behavior? - regardless, still no luck.
