I have a towing service which has been storing a 140 ft antenna for a local communictions company for about 10 years. During this time trees and vines have grown up and over the 7 - 20 ft sections stored in the back of our impound lot which is rather small to begin with. I spoke with the antenna owner yesterday and told him the only way I could continue to store it would be to disassemble the larger pieces. He stated he paid $14,000 for it brand new and was used for only a short time before the property it was erected on was sold to build a new grocery store and has been stored in our lot since then. He also gave me permission to disassemble it to continue storing it. The catch 22 is, if I disassemble it, the value will decrease and while I may pick up space, I'd rather see it gone. Someone make a reasonable offer for this item so I can get it out of here. He is asking $2500 as is. If I don't get feedback within a couple days I will start taking it apart. Thanks for any input.
