Not really all that bad. I've tried it. Thus far nearly everything I'm
likely to want to use on the boat works just fine behind double NAT routes.
I'm pleasantly surprised.
Granted, anything that needs direct inbound packets isn't going to work.
But they wouldn't work on a straight connection to the shore link either.
So having them behind an on-boat NAT router doesn't really make much
difference. |
