But Ivor, wether you do something or nothing, the point is you can't
stop it. You might as well open your window, face China and shout as
loud as you can "Stop posting your crap to uk.telecom.voip!", it will
have the same effect. If someone wants to post there is no mechanisim to
stop them. If you want that level of control, you are better off running
a web forum. The people that post the crap don't give a damn about
charters.

Usenet is totally out of control, you only have to look at a group like
alt.os.windows-xp to see just how out of control it is. The kooks love
it because nobody can stop them and even less ISPs even do anything
about them. Sorry, I'll get down off my soapbox now.
