If everyone could make an arrangement with Customs and Excise to get
similar treatment, buying goods from the States, or anywhere else
outside the EU, could result in saving money. But that's not going to
happen.
So a simple price comparison between two ATAs obtainable in both the UK
and the USA is incomplete.
