Are the drives jumpered for 1.5Gb/sec operation when you place
them in the enclosure ?
Do the drives work when plugged directly to your motherboard ?
Why not prep the drives when connected to the motherboard, and
then move them back to the enclosure and try again. If the
drives won't work with the motherboard, you have eliminated
the enclosure as the source of the problem.
