Maybe 5ks - however the dish is highly directional so using a laptop on the other end would not be realistic - except as a test.

A better approach to your problem would be to establish the type of cover you want (point to point, or point to multipoint) and distance you want to cover and then select the gear based on that. What is it you are trying to do?
