Well its looks strange, it should not be happens in this way.According to my knowledge all nokia phones uses the same signal receiver or rather most nokia phones do.The difference in signal strength is because on the location where the receiver is placed on the phone and the material of the casing plays a part. Currently i have Nokia E71i and a friend of mine has the E63. Both has exceptional signal strength.
But it might possible that in the area you are living have weak signal strength.
