hmm while it could just be your next door neighbour, accidentally connecting. it could be a hacker too.
first:
do you have ssid broadcast turned off? if not turn it off.
second:
change your wpa key, hate to break the bad news to you but WPA PSK can be cracked now

third: find out if it is an attacker:
install packet sniffing tools, like ethereal
go to this site and read this white paper

you'll be looking out for the typical footprints of wireless sniffers. the most common ones are talked about.
if youre mainly picking those sniffing tools up, its VERY possible youre being attacked. in that case get a directional aerial and the next time it happens hunt the mofo down.
if it just turns out that its your neighbour accidentally connecting, inform him that hes connecting to your network etc...
