It's a bit pricey getting it straight from them. I bought off of the web
for $250 straight out. Sure, I don't get the warranty, but I also have
an unlocked, fully customizable V3i. And I do have the Cingular firmware
on it now that the phone is officially out, but I can change that
whenever I want.

I had the warranty on my v600, which I never used and was probably
voided after the first time I flashed the firmware on it anyways
hehehehe .... now the wife has that one with the latest firmware and
could not be happier. Still a fine phone ......
