I believe his complaint is that the voice mail notice was designed
by someone in the Department of Redundency Department.
If you have just one unplayed message, and it's going to start playing
automatically anyhow, it would make far more sense to just have it
say, "Now playing unread message", instead of all of the other useless
and redundent prompts.
And, BTW, yes, I would LOVE to be able to configure VM so that I can
turn off unheard voicemail notifications. Sometimes I simply don't
care about unheard VM, and I want to get to an old message. I'm
perfectly capable of pressing a key to get my VM when I want to
check for unheard ones.
