That's odd. I'm showing 7,292,857 online at 11:39AM EDT as I type this.
However, he doesn't want to talk to all three of them, he just wants to
talk to his friends and office back home without paying $3/minute to do
so.

Can you blame him?

Noone cares if YOU don't like it, or anyone who doesn't like it. From
the "shack in back of Walmart with the 36 cats", as your assflame to me
in another thead points out, it works great, here.

For someone who needs to call back home to check on a business and how
the house sitter is getting along, or not getting along, Skype from a
Barbados hotspot is a great, very cheap way to accomplish that in a
timely manner. Use a mic on the computer and the laptop's speakers and
the whole family in Barbados can listen into the conference with as many
phones and Skype computers you'd care to put into a large conference call
I'm sure would be VERY expensive on any cellular carrier or hotel
telephone system.

Now, be a good boy and crawl back into that box with the cats...(c;
