Well, here's my 2 cents.

I've got the VX8300 myself, which, was an upgrade from a VX6100, and I love it. The camera is nicer, you can take video, and you can listen to music or watch videos. The
reception is absolutely amazing IMO, and I can even place phone calls just fine in my basement, which I couldn't do with my VX6100. The VX8300 is really a remarkable phone.

You can unlock MP3 playback by going to the secret menu, which, once your at the main menu screen, you hit the number 0 I believe 7 times until a new menu pops up. Then there's
an option further down to enable it.

If your daughter is more interested in the "coolness" factor of a phone, then there probably wouldn't be any convincing her of getting something other than the RZR, but here's
some food for thought... is it really that cool to have something which seemingly everyone else also has?
