In the olden days before cell phones, we traveled. Took cruises and the
like. There was always a way that we could be notified in an emergancy
and we took great care to leave our children with people whom we knew
were responsible. We would leave a notorized "parental" authority with
them.

How did we all manage life before cell phones?
