tell it to only manage WWAN - and problem solved. WiFi is then left completely
alone. (You can even run the wizard and do this after install...)
I can fire up a VZW connection while still connected to WiFi anytime I want.
You also seem to be missing the whole point of Access Manager.
While I don't like it or use it myself, the intent of the program is not
some evil plot for VZW iron hand control. It is meant for easy auto switching -
the program is supposed to automatically use WiFi when available and WWAN
when not.
Yes, it could be better, that's why I don't use it. But auto switching between them
was how it is meant to work.
