Okay, let me break in one more time. First, my cabled network works
fine on these laptops when they are connected via cable to the network.
No problems with that..No IP problems..No login problems..Just no
network problems when connected via the Cat 5 cable.
You only see the NIC in the Network (Local Area Connection) in the
Network Connections applet. If you fire off VZ Access Manager version
5.4.0 or later, no connections show up in the connections, IF you're a
Power User, IF you're an admin everything works fine and you can
connect wirelessly to Verizon, then use VPN or whatever.
